Student Leadership at Clover Hill: Growing Voice, Growing Leaders
At Clover Hill, we believe that leadership is not about a badge. It is about influence, impact and integrity. Our commitment to nurturing student leadership stems from a deep belief that every student has the potential to lead, contribute and shape the culture of our school in meaningful ways.
Leadership at Clover Hill is not limited to a single role or year level. Leadership opportunities range from:
· School Leaders
· Sports Leaders
· STEM Leaders
· Performing Arts Leaders
· First Nations Leaders
· Student Council Leaders
· GRIP Leadership
We ensure there is a wide range of opportunities for students to step forward and shine. These roles allow students to lead with purpose, celebrate their strengths and work collaboratively to bring energy and momentum to their area of passion.
Our Student Council is an active and valued voice across our school, taking the lead on initiatives that matter to our students. From fundraising events, community programs, wellbeing initiatives and school improvement ideas.
We have introduced GRIP (Game Readiness Improvement Pathway) Leadership. This is an opportunity to train our older students to support positive play and connection during break times on the oval during active game play, which serves to make every corner of our playground feel safe and inclusive.
More than just a program, student leadership is embedded into our way of being. We actively seek student voice in decisions that shape their school experience, because we believe that leadership is learned by doing, by listening, empathising, problem solving, and taking action.
When our students lead, they do not just grow in confidence and capability, and they shape the heart of our school.
