Nestled in the hinterland of Queensland's Gold Coast, Mudgeeraba is a town rich in heritage, heart and community spirit. Once a quiet rural village known for its timber mills, farming families and unmistakeable charm, Mudgeeraba has grown into a thriving hub that still holds tight to its country roots. Historic buildings, a welcoming main street, and the surrounding natural beauty of the hinterland all speak to a proud past. One that values connection, contribution and a strong sense of place.
As the community around Mudgeeraba grew, so too did the need for a school that could meet the educational aspirations of local families. A school that would honour the town's values whilst embracing the opportunities of the future.
In 2004, Clover Hill State School opened its doors with a vision to create a place where student could receive an outstanding education in a culture of excellence, care and community. What began as a newly established school on the edge of the Gold Coast hinterland has grown into a flagship of educational innovation and student success. Consistently recognised for its high standards, strong partnerships and commitment to developing the whole child.
Clover Hill takes its name from the very land it sits upon. Once rolling green paddocks, now transformed into a thriving learning community. Today, Clover Hill remains deeply connected to the Mudgeeraba story. Our families, past and present, have helped shape the culture of our school, and our students continue to make their mark both locally and beyond. Just like the town we belong to, we are proud of where we have come from, and even more excited about where we are heading.
